The Ukrainian Basso Volodymyr became his musical education in Kiew with Micola Krencev and later with Taras Shtonda, Grygory Garcusha and Anatoly Kotcherga at the Ukrainian National Opera, NMAU Tschaikowski Music academy in Kiew as well as at the CRR de Paris with Yves Sotin. 2023 Volodymyr continued his vocal studies at Conservatorio di musica Benedetto Marcello in Venice with Stefano Gibellato and at Conservatorio di Milano with Michele Porcelli.
Furthermore the young singer has been member of the opera studio at Tschaikowski Musica academy in Kiew, performing the roles of Publio in Mozarts La Clemenza di Tito, Cesare Angelotti in Puccinis Tosca, Monterone in Verdis Rigoletto and Saretzki in Tschaikowskis Eugen Onegin.
During the season 2022/23 Volodymyr participated at Accademia del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, where he sung Zuniga in Bizets Carmen, Großinquisitor in Verdis Don Carlo and Doktor Grenvil in Verdis La Traviata under the baton of Zubin Mehta. In the same season he sung Sparafucile in Verdis Rigoletto at Chigiana Festival in Siena under the baton of Maestro Daniele Gatti.
Volodymyr Morozov has been awarded at international competitions among others with the 1. Prize at the Opera Talents competition in Ukraine in 2022, Best Bass Award at XV. Giulio Neri Competition in Torrita di Siena 2023, 1. Prize at Premio Lirico Cittá di Monterosso al Mare 2023, Finalist at V. International completion in Bologna 2023 and special prize at Hans Gabor Belvedere competition 2024.
2023/24 Volodymyr Morozov continues his musical and acting education in Salzburg at the Master Oper und Musiktheater of Professor Gernot Sahler and Alexander von Pfeil as well as Vocal education with Mario Diaz.
Current and future projects include the role of Zuniga at Opera Baugé, his debut at Les Arts Valencia in Manon, Alvise in La Gioconda and il Principe Bouillon in Adriana Lecouvreur at Teatro Lirico di Cagliari and his debut at Deutsche Oper Berlin with the parts of Timur, Basilio and Colline, among others.
